Terms of Use

This page sets out the rules for using Poki, the browser-games site open in front of you. One read through, and you will know exactly what applies.

Zero cost, made for play

You pay nothing to play on Poki. Launch any game in your browser and enjoy it yourself, whether you are at home, at school or riding the bus. Pressing play requires no sign-up. What is off-limits: taking the site or anything on it and selling it, folding it into another product, or running it inside a paid offering without permission.

Ownership remains with the developers

Each game on Poki comes from a developer or studio, and it belongs to them. The art, code, music and names inside every game are the property of its creators. Showing the games is our role; we never claim to own them. Copying a game, reuploading it elsewhere or presenting it as your own is not allowed.

Not every game works on every setup

Games run inside a browser, and browsers, phones and computers all differ. One device may run a game without trouble while another loads it slowly, displays it strangely or fails to start it. We make no promise that each game works on every device, browser or connection. Should something fail to load, test another browser or device first, rather than deciding the game is broken.

Play fair, no abuse

Keep it fair. Bots, scripts, modified clients and exploits used to cheat in games are not allowed, and neither is breaking, overloading or interfering with the site. Do not harass others through the site, upload harmful code, or try to bypass technical limits. Cheating on a leaderboard or score system counts as cheating all the same.

Some game content is supplied by third parties

Certain games are hosted or supplied by outside developers and services. Those third parties provide that content, and their own terms may govern it. What happens inside a third-party game is beyond our control, and content we did not create is not our responsibility.

The site can change

Games are added, updated and removed over time. A game you enjoyed last month may be gone next month, and site features can change with no notice. We do our best to keep the site running, though we cannot guarantee it will always be available or stay the same.
