About the game
Basketball Stars is a MadPuffers arcade basketball game with a tournament to work through, built around the 2025 basketball season. You pick a team, then score with dunks and three-pointers while blocking and slapping your rival to knock the ball away and take it back.
A supershot bar sits along the top of the screen. Fill it and the special dunk drops from wherever you happen to be standing, which can rescue a tight finish. Before that, dashes and steals decide most possessions, so the round is a scrap for the ball as much as a shooting contest.
How to play
- One player: move with W A S D or the arrow keys, shoot or steal with X or L, pump or block with S.
- Two players share the keyboard: player 1 moves with W A S D and shoots or steals with B; player 2 moves with the arrows and shoots or steals with L.
- Dash by tapping A or D twice, or left or right twice.
- When the supershot bar is full, press K or Z for the special dunk.
