About the game
Master Checkers is the two-player board game Italian Checkers, played on the dark squares. Your goal is to capture all opposing pieces or block their moves. Each turn, you move a piece diagonally forward; if a jump is available, you must take it. A piece that reaches the far row becomes a king, able to move backward and forward.
You can play against the computer, a local player, or opponents online. The forced captures make every move matter, so plan ahead to avoid leaving your pieces open.
How to play
- Click a piece, then click a dark square diagonally ahead to move.
- To capture, jump over an opponent's piece and land on the empty dark square beyond it.
- If a capture is possible, you must take it; multiple jumps can be made in one move.
- Reach the farthest row to crown your piece a king, which can move forward or backward.
